Covid-19 – Welsh Government Firebreak Lockdown 23 October to 9 November 2020

As you are probably aware, the Welsh Government has decided to introduce across Wales a short, sharp firebreak to help regain control of coronavirus. The firebreak will be in place from 6pm Friday 23 October until 12:01am Monday 9 November 2020 and will entail a series of restrictive measures.
During this period people are allowed to leave home for work purposes where it is not reasonably practicable to work from home. The Welsh Government has stated that occupations like construction and manufacturing can continue, subject to compliance with Government guidance and advice on mitigating the spread of coronavirus.
We have assessed our operating procedures and Covid-19 specific risk assessments to ensure we can maintain Covid-19 secure sites during this period. Our operations are fully compliant with Government directives, advice and guidance and industry standards, including Construction Leadership Council’s (CLC) Site Operating Procedures.
As result, we will continue to operate as normal throughout this period – or the ‘new’ normal as it’s now called!
Please stay safe and follow Government guidance and advice in combating the transmission of coronavirus.
